Chad Baruch, head men's basketball coach, Paul Quinn CollegeChad Baruch enters his first season as Men's Basketball Coach at Paul Quinn, and his 17th season as a head coach. 

Coach Baruch received his B.A. in political science from the University of Minnesota, where he was one of the nation's top college debaters and received the Sumner Sullivan Young Award for excellence in collegiate debate. He then received his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he was a Royal Stone Scholar and a member of the Law & Inequality Journal. Coach Baruch also completed the Principals Institute at Harvard University.

Over the past two decades, Coach Baruch has forged a reputation at both the high school and college levels as a superior teacher of fundamental basketball. His teams are known for their tremendous man-to-man defense, disciplined offense, and exemplary conduct. Coach Baruch began his career as an assistant coach at De La Salle High School (Minneapolis, Minnesota) and Eastfield College. He served as Assistant Coach and then Head Coach at the University of Dallas, helping to produce two All-Americans and the school's first winning record in the modern era. Following his stint at UD, Coach Baruch served 15 years as Head Coach at Yavneh Academy of Dallas, where he built one of the state's most respected private school programs. 

Coach Baruch also works as an appellate attorney in Dallas. He has served on the State Bar of Texas Board of Directors and the State Bar College Board of Directors. Committed to the ideal of justice for all, Coach Baruch also has been named a Pro Bono Champion by the Texas Access to Justice Commission. He was recognized in 2012 as one of the "Best Lawyers in Dallas" by D Magazine, and as a Thompson Reuters "Super Lawyer" in Texas Monthly Magazine.
