The Black Magnolias literary journal has published two works by Colleen White, Assistant Professor of English.  Two poems by Mrs. White, "A New Day" and "To Love You Always", were published in the fall 2012 edition of the journal.  She penned "A New Day" in honor of Paul Quinn College after President Sorrell's address at the Spring 2012 Honors Convocation.  Mrs. White has taught at PQC since 2009.

Mrs. White keeps her pen active.  She writes a weekly column called "A Little Bit of Faith" for the Dallas Post Tribune, she has pieces published in two anthologies, and she is currently working on two books.  A fifteen year higher education veteran, Mrs. White received her undergraduate degree from Wiley College in mass communications and her M.A. in Journalism from the University of Mississippi; and she is pursuing her Ph.D. from Fielding Graduate University.
