The Federal TRIO Programs (TRIO) are outreach and student services programs designed to identify and provide services for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. Paul Quinn houses two of the programs--Student Support Services and Upward Bound.  The programs serve first-generation college students and individuals with disabilities from under resourced communities to help them achieve the dream of earning college degrees.  The TRIO programs are grant-supported programs, allowing for the educational advancement of qualified students and the training of TRIO directors and staff.
