PQC NEWS | December Saturday College to focus on resumes, interview skills

Paul Quinn College will continue its Saturday College series on December 15 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.  The series is designed to help families from under-resourced communities learn the ABCs of preparing for and achieving success in college.  The sessions are held once a month.  The December session is “What Employers Want: Tips for How to Select a Career, Succeed in the Interview and Excel on the Job”.  Representatives from INROADS and the UPLIFT Schools will participate in the session, which will include tips for conducting great interviews with colleges and employers.  Saturday College is free and open to high school students and their parents from Dallas/Fort Worth and surrounding areas.  For more information, families can call 214-379-5515, email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.   • March 16, 2013:  “Why Does My Neighborhood Look Like This? (Part II): The Power of Social Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy”
  • April 20, 2013: “I Said What? The Real Story with Verbal, Non-Verbal and Written Communication in the Age of Social Media”
  • May 11, 2013: “Servant Leadership Project”
