The Tom Joyner Foundation came to Paul Quinn College to raise funds for the nationally recognized WE Over Me Farm. "A Taste of Paul Quinn" took place on September 13. The event was a part of the day-long “North Texas Giving Day”. Among those in attendance were: Tom Joyner, host of the nationally syndicated "Tom Joyner Morning Show"; Tiffany Derry, "Top Chef" alumna; Brent Christopher, president of Communities Foundation of Texas; Texas State Representative Eric Johnson (District 100); Texas State Senator Royce West (District 23); and Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings. "Old School 94.5" also broadcast live during the event.
