QUINNITE SOLIDIFIES HIS PLACE AS LOUISIANA BASKETBALL LEGEND

Charles Smith, coach of the Peabody Magnet High School boys' basketball team, solidified a place in Louisiana athletics history with his sixth state championship in March 2012. Under Smith's leadership, the Warhorses had previously won state championships in 1991, 2000, 2004, 2007, and 2010. En route to the Louisiana state title, Smith reached a significant milestone when he won his 800th game in January 2012. Smith is a native of Boyce, Louisiana.
