To
Receive Prior Credits
Individuals entering degree completion programs in the Division of
Adult and Continuing Education are able to petition for up to 30
hours Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) experiences. Prior Learning
experiences can be determined by activities learners participated
in, and out of traditional classroom settings. A maximum of 30
credits hours may be applied toward a bachelor's degree.
Consideration is given for:

Workshops and/or seminars
-
Self
Study and/or non-credit classes.

Work
Experience
-
Community Service participation.
Program Requirements and
Related Costs

You
are eligible for acceptance into the Degree Completion Program
if you have 45 hours or more prior college credit or hold an
Associates of Liberal/Associates of Arts and Science Degree.
Teaching Assistants may enter the PATHWAY program with 0
Hours.

Maximum hours for transfer from a two year institution is 64 and
82 maximum hours may be transferred from a 4 year institution.
You should also be at least 25 years old.

GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Bachelor's
degrees are awarded upon successful completion of 124 semester hours
that consist of 43-48 hours in residency at Paul Quinn College.
These are
accelerated programs designed for completion within 15-24 months of
continuous enrollment.
