Paul Quinn College maintains a permanent academic record for
each student enrolled. All records are kept confidential
and are considered property of the college. Public Law
93-380, the Family educational Rights and Privacy Acts,
grants all students access to their records. The law also
limits other's access to student grades, reports of academic
performance, reports of disciplinary action and other
personal data unless the students permission is granted.
Their is no prohibition from disclosing such information to
the parents of students who are listed as dependants on
their parent's Federal Income Tax return |

A student must formally request a
transcript, unofficial for in-house advisement or an
official transcript, on the Transcript Request Form. One
free transcript is provided to students upon graduation. The
cost of each additional transcript is $2.00, payable in cash
,
money order or by credit card. Once a student completes a
Transcript Request Form, it is forwarded to the Business
Office for clearance.
Transcripts are not provided to students who have
outstanding balances due to the College or who have
defaulted on a Federal loan. After the form has been cleared
by the Business Office, it is returned to the Office of the
Registrar, where it is processed. It normally takes 3-4
working days to process a request. |
