International Students

International students have a long history of success at Paul Quinn College. The process and requirements for international student applicants are the same as those for all new students with one difference. International students are required to submit their TOEFL results.

Academic and Admission Requirements for International Students

  • Applicants whose native language is not English are required to submit test results from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
  • An international admissions application

Submit your Notarized Affidavit of Sponsorship. The Affidavit of Sponsorship must be certified by a bank or the American Consulate, indicating sufficient funds and commitment to the student throughout his/her studies at Paul Quinn College. The statement must be notarized for authenticity and sent directly to the Office of Enrollment Management.

Forward your TOEFL results to Paul Quinn College. Students must have a TOEFL score of 500 if the test is paper based and a score of 173 for computer based.

Submit the official copies of your educational records showing courses completed at all secondary schools, colleges or universities attended. These records may be your General Certificates, School Leaving Certificates, transcripts, examinations or the documents, containing the grades and scores of the courses taken. ALL official copies must be evaluated by the Educational Credential Evaluators. This evaluation can be obtained by sending academic records to the following address:
